Lace Care

We would recommend a delicate hand wash in a cool temperature using a mild detergent. The fabric should be reshaped whilst wet, pull firmly lengthways and sideways.

You may wash our Lace on a cool, delicate machine cycle at your own discretion.

Iron using a cool temperature setting.

Do not use bleach. Do not wring or twist. Do not tumble or spin dry.

Detergents containing brightening or optical agents should not be used as these degenerate quickly when exposed to natural light.

Madras Care

You can wash our Madras fabrics with a delicate hand wash in cool or lukewarm water using a mild detergent. Rinse carefully, squeezing any excess water out of the fabric gently.

The fabric should be reshaped whilst wet, pull firmly lengthways and sideways. Iron carefully on Cotton setting.

Do not use bleach. Do not wring or twist. Do not tumble or spin dry.

Detergents containing brightening or optical agents should not be used as these degenerate quickly when exposed to natural light.

Both Lace and madras fabrics can be dry cleaned, if possible by firms with experience in fine fabrics.

If the above instructions are followed, shrinkage is minimal.
